Unauthenticated SQL injection via raw search query
Published Jan 20, 2023 · Updated Apr 3, 2025
SQL injection in /search.php in kishan0725 Hospital Management System allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL via crafted search parameters. The handler interpolates the POST contact value and doctor value directly into a MySQL SELECT statement without escaping, validation, or parameter binding. A search_submit request reaches the query without an authorization check in the handler, enabling unauthenticated network access to read or alter appointment data.
