Published Feb 17, 2023 · Updated Mar 18, 2025
Cross-site scripting in the jspreadsheet dropdown before 4.6.0 allows remote attackers to execute script through a crafted option. The dropdown renderer inserts an option string containing HTML into the page without neutralizing event handlers. Execution requires a user to open the affected dropdown cell, and the script runs in that page's browser context.
