Unauthenticated code execution via unrestricted PHP upload
Published Feb 2, 2023 · Updated Mar 27, 2025
Unrestricted file upload in Monnai aaPanel host system 1.5 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code. The virtual-host upload path accepts a crafted PHP file without enforcing access control or a safe file type, placing an executable web shell in the served directory. No authentication or user interaction is required; the uploaded script runs in the web server context and can traverse sibling site directories exposed with permissive filesystem access.
