Privilege escalation in WFS Another Eden Japanese PC 3.0.20 and earlier and Global Steam 2.14.200 and earlier allows local users to gain SYSTEM. The wfshbr64.sys and wfshbr32.sys drivers accept attacker-supplied EPROCESS offsets and flag values through IOCTL requests, then perform insufficiently constrained bitwise writes to the calling process object. Low-privilege local code can manipulate process protection and signature metadata, enabling a malicious program to operate with SYSTEM privileges.
