Administrator session compromise via stored User-Agent script
Published Jan 27, 2023 · Updated Mar 28, 2025
Stored XSS in identification.php in Piwigo 13.4.0 allows remote authenticated users to run scripts in an administrator's browser. A crafted User-Agent header is saved in the activity log without HTML neutralization and rendered on the administrator activity page. An ordinary account must submit a login request, and an administrator must later open that page; the script then runs with the administrator's web-session authority.
