Stored and reflected XSS via application name
Published Dec 27, 2022 · Updated Apr 11, 2025
Cross-site scripting in Heimdall Application Dashboard 2.5.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute script in browsers. The Add application page accepts JavaScript in Application name, and the Application list renders the saved value without neutralizing it. An attacker needs permission to add an application, and another user's browser must load the resulting list; the script can read or alter data in that browser context.
