Unauthenticated command execution via language path traversal
Published Dec 23, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Path traversal in ThinkPHP Framework before 6.0.14 allows remote attackers to execute operating system commands through the lang parameter. LoadLangPack::detect accepts the request value when allow_lang_list is empty, and Lang::switchLangSet incorporates it into a PHP language-pack path that parse includes. Exploitation requires lang_switch_on=true and an includable PHP file such as pearcmd.php; executed commands inherit the web process's privileges.
