Application crashes via malformed JSON parsing

Improper input validation in Apache Sling Commons JSON 2.0.20 and earlier allows remote attackers to crash applications via crafted JSON. Apache has not published which parser routines mishandle the crafted structures; upstream testing reproduced out-of-memory conditions and stack overflows. Exposure requires a consuming application to pass attacker-controlled JSON to the embedded bundle, where resource exhaustion can interrupt that application.
