Stored XSS via unescaped masonry grid attribute
Published Jan 30, 2023 · Updated Mar 27, 2025
Stored XSS in InfornWeb News & Blog Designer Pack before 3.3 allows remote authenticated users to run script in a visitor's browser. The bdp_masonry shortcode places its grid attribute into page markup without validation or output escaping, so a crafted quote injects an event handler. Contributor access is enough to store the shortcode, and exploitation requires a visitor to render the affected page, exposing that visitor's WordPress-session context.
