Authenticated code execution via custom Groovy jobs

Published May 2, 2023 · Updated Jan 30, 2025

Code execution in the Integrator in Jedox 2020.2.5 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary system commands via Groovy jobs. The Integrator accepts custom Groovy source in a user-created job and executes it, allowing language process APIs to launch operating-system commands. Reachability requires an account with permission to create and run a Groovy job, after which commands execute with the Jedox service's host privileges.
