CVE-2022-47874Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Database connection disclosure via unauthorized RPC method

Published May 2, 2023 · Updated Jan 30, 2025

Improper access control in Jedox Cloud and Jedox 2020.2.5 allows remote authenticated users to view database connection details via /tc/rpc. The getGlobalConnection method returns individual connection records, including encrypted credentials, without enforcing authorization appropriate to the caller. Read-only access and knowledge of a connection name are sufficient; this flaw exposes encrypted credential material but does not decrypt it without a separate vulnerability.
