CVE-2022-47848Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Administrative access via UPnP serial-number disclosure

Published Sep 15, 2023 · Updated Sep 25, 2024

Improper authentication in Bezeq VTech NB403-IL BZ_2.02.07.09.13.01 allows remote attackers to obtain its serial number via UPnP. The unauthenticated UPnP service on port 8200 returns the serial number in /rootDesc.xml even though the web administrator interface treats that value as its password. Network access to the router service is required; disclosure enables administrative login, while only some devices expose the affected ports to the WAN.
