Browser script execution via session variable injection

Cross-site scripting in Hitachi Vantara Pentaho Business Analytics Server before 9.3.0.2 and in 9.4.0.0 allows remote attackers to run scripts. A crafted URL injects attacker-controlled content through session variables, and the Pentaho User Console renders it without adequate neutralization. A user must open the URL; the script then executes in the console's browser context and can read or alter data available to that session.
