Out-of-bounds reads in GNU Binutils addr2line before 2.39.3 allow local users to crash the tool with a crafted VMS Alpha object file. The parse_module function in bfd/vms-alpha.c trusts DST record and command lengths, then reads fields beyond the supplied debug section.
