Published Jan 1, 2023 · Updated Apr 10, 2025
Improper access control in Isode M-Link R16.2v1 through R17.0v23 allows remote authenticated users to access and manipulate archive data. The M-Link Archive Server accepts requests to certain HTTP endpoints from non-administrative accounts without enforcing administrator-only authorization. Successful authentication as a non-administrative user and knowledge of the correct endpoint URLs are sufficient to read or alter stored archives.
