CVE-2022-47632Public exploit

Local privilege escalation via self-signed DLL hijacking

Published Jan 27, 2023 · Updated Mar 28, 2025

Privilege escalation in Razer Synapse before 3.7.0830.081906 allows local users to execute code with administrative privileges. The elevated Razer Synapse Service loads DLLs from a pre-creatable ProgramData directory and accepts any certificate information without validating the signer. Exploitation requires physical access, a local unprivileged account, and preparation before installation through a Razer or emulated device.
