Unauthenticated server crash via LDAPv1 bind request

Denial of service in Isode M-Vault 16.0v0 through 17.0v23 allows remote attackers to crash the server via an LDAPv1 bind request. The LDAP bind-processing path fails on a version 1 bind request, but Isode has not disclosed the underlying parsing or state-handling error. An unauthenticated network client that can reach the LDAP service can terminate the directory server, interrupting availability without reported data disclosure or modification.
