CVE-2022-47557Network attack vector

Privileged credential recovery via weak password hashing

Published Sep 19, 2023 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Credential exposure in Ormazabal ekorCCP and ekorRCI 601j allows remote attackers to decrypt privileged-user credentials. The public advisory identifies insufficient password-hash effort but does not disclose the credential store, hash construction, or recovery procedure. Access to the device network is required; recovered privileged credentials permit authenticated system access and actions available to those accounts.
