CVE-2022-47515Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Daemon crash via SIP message length underflow

Published Dec 18, 2022 · Updated Apr 17, 2025

Denial of service in drachtio-server before 0.8.20 allows remote attackers to crash the daemon with a long message in a TCP request. StackMsg::appendLine subtracts one from an empty assembled message length and passes the underflowed size to std::string::resize, raising an uncaught std::length_error. The SIP TCP listener must be reachable; one unauthenticated crafted request terminates call processing until the daemon restarts.
