XXE injection in XML-RPC.NET before 2.5.0 allows remote authenticated users to trigger server-side requests through pingback.aspx POSTs. The pingback.aspx XML request parser accepts attacker-supplied document type declarations and expands external entities into server-side URL and file accesses. Authentication is required; crafted external DTDs can relay local file contents to an attacker-controlled server.
