Path traversal in SolarWinds Platform 2022.4.1 allows local users with authenticated accounts to execute arbitrary commands. The sshd_SftpRename function uses a user-supplied path in file operations without validating that the path stays within an allowed directory. Exploitation requires an authenticated local account and can modify the default configuration so commands run as SYSTEM.
