Unauthenticated file disclosure via Solr debug dump
Published Apr 14, 2023 · Updated Feb 13, 2025
Path traversal in the Solr plugin for Apache OFBiz before 18.12.07 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary server files without authentication. OFBizSolrContextFilter failed to block unauthenticated access to /solrdefault/debug/dump, leaving Solr's dump handler able to process attacker-controlled file requests. The Solr plugin must be installed and network-accessible; successful requests disclose files readable by the OFBiz process without modifying data or interrupting service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
