CVE-2022-47500Network attack vector

Unauthenticated open redirect via forward component

Published Dec 19, 2022 · Updated Apr 17, 2025

Open redirect in Apache Helix UI 0.8.0 through 1.0.4 allows remote attackers to send users to attacker-controlled URLs via crafted forward parameters. The UI forward component accepts an untrusted destination and redirects the browser without restricting the target, enabling phishing or leakage of redirect context. Exploitation requires a victim to follow the crafted link; the record describes confidentiality and integrity impact but no service interruption.
