Stored XSS in Essential Plugin Post Category Image With Grid and Slider before 1.4.8 allows remote authenticated users to execute script. The pci-cat-slider shortcode writes the design attribute into page markup without validation or contextual escaping. Contributor access is sufficient to store an event-handler payload that runs when a higher-privileged user views the rendered page.
