Authenticated code execution via unchecked tag copy

Stack-based buffer overflow in CmpApp before 3.5.19.0 or 4.8.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code. CmpApp copies attacker-controlled CODESYS protocol tag data onto the stack without validating the encoded tag size, causing an out-of-bounds write. Successful login and a crafted communication request are required; exploitation can also overwrite memory or interrupt the controller runtime.
