Browser script execution via unsanitized reflected input
Published Feb 15, 2023 · Updated Apr 4, 2025
Reflected XSS in the Pandora FMS Console through 766 allows remote attackers to run script in a user's browser via a crafted URL. The console reflects an unvalidated request value into generated HTML without context-appropriate output encoding, causing the browser to interpret injected markup as script. Exploitation requires a user to open the attacker-supplied URL; the script can access or alter data available to the victim's browser session.
