Local WLAN interruption via unchecked parameters
Published Feb 6, 2023 · Updated Mar 26, 2025
An out-of-bounds read in UNISOC's WLAN driver on Android 10 through Android 12 allows local users to interrupt WLAN services. Missing parameter validation lets the driver read outside the intended memory boundary, but UNISOC has not identified the affected function or parameter. The vendor assessment requires high local privileges and high attack complexity; the documented consequence is interruption of WLAN services.
