Arbitrary code execution via crafted project file
Published Jan 3, 2023 · Updated Apr 10, 2025
Out-of-bounds write in Fuji Electric V-Server 4.0.12.0 and earlier allows local users to execute arbitrary code via a crafted project file. The project-file parser writes beyond its intended memory boundary while processing malicious file content; the responsible function and field are undisclosed. Exploitation requires a user to open the file, after which attacker-controlled code can run in that user's context and information can be disclosed.
