Stored script execution via unsanitized template names
Published Dec 24, 2022 · Updated Apr 10, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in Graphite-Web 1.1.10 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript via a crafted template name. The dashboard template save endpoint accepts HTML-bearing name and key path parameters, stores them, and returns a template name in Template finder without output neutralization. A user must be able to save a dashboard template, and another user must open Template finder for the payload to run in the application context.
