CVE-2022-47210

Authenticated command execution via restricted Telnet shell

Published Dec 16, 2022 · Updated Apr 17, 2025

Command injection in the restricted Telnet shell in NETGEAR RAX30 firmware before 1.0.9.90 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands. The shell feeds console commands directly into a system call or equivalent command-execution function without enforcing its command subset. Telnet must be enabled and valid credentials are required; exploitation grants arbitrary command execution on the router.
