Arbitrary page creation via tokenless admin request
Published Feb 3, 2023 · Updated Mar 26, 2025
CSRF in Academy LMS before 5.10 allows attackers to create arbitrary pages by inducing an authenticated administrator to submit a request. The /admin/custom_page/add endpoint accepts page-title, content, position, and URL fields without a CSRF token that binds the request to the administrator's session. Administrator interaction is required, and the resulting stored page can contain attacker-supplied script that executes when the page is viewed.
