Memory corruption via wrlEn_5g stack overflow
Published Dec 30, 2022 · Updated Apr 11, 2025
Stack overflow in Tenda A15 firmware 15.13.07.13 allows remote attackers to corrupt memory via the wrlEn_5g setting. The /goform/WifiBasicSet handler writes the untrusted wrlEn_5g value beyond a stack buffer; public materials do not identify the exact copy routine. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation compromises confidentiality, integrity, or availability.
