Unauthenticated stack overflow via wepkey parameter
Published Dec 30, 2022 · Updated Apr 11, 2025
Tenda A15 firmware 15.13.07.13 stack overflow allows remote attackers to crash or control the router via crafted wepkey input. The /goform/WifiBasicSet endpoint copies the attacker-controlled wepkey parameter into a stack buffer without sufficient bounds, overwriting adjacent memory. The endpoint is reachable without authentication on the network; successful exploitation can compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
