Unauthenticated memory corruption via oversized wepkey1
Published Dec 30, 2022 · Updated Apr 10, 2025
Stack overflow in Tenda A15 firmware 15.13.07.13 allows remote attackers to corrupt memory via a crafted wepkey1 value. The /goform/WifiBasicSet handler processes the attacker-controlled value without enforcing the bounds of its destination stack buffer. Unauthenticated network access to the management endpoint is sufficient; public sources establish memory corruption but not reliable code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
