Memory leak in stab_demangle_v3_arg in GNU Binutils 2.34 through 2.38 allows local users to exhaust memory with crafted input. The affected stabs.c path returns a temporary xmalloc argument array without copying it into managed storage or releasing the temporary allocation. Exploitation requires a Binutils utility to process attacker-controlled symbol data; the reported consequence is availability loss through memory exhaustion.
