Improper access control in Memos before 0.9.0 allows remote authenticated users to take over accounts through crafted HTTP requests. UserPatch and related patch structures decode a client-supplied ID from JSON, allowing an update body to target an object other than the route-selected object. Any signed-in user can redirect a user update to another account; the same ID-binding flaw affects memo, resource, and shortcut updates.
