Subscriber-level database extraction via unescaped idLink
Published Nov 6, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
SQL injection in KaizenCoders URL Shortify 1.6.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read sensitive database data. The reset_link() AJAX handler inserts the user-controlled idLink parameter into an existing SQL query without sufficient escaping or preparation. Subscriber-level access is sufficient to append SQL statements and extract sensitive information from the WordPress database.
