CVE-2022-46821Network attack vector

Spreadsheet command execution via injected CSV formulas

Published Nov 7, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026

CSV injection in Sarbacane Software Emails & Newsletters with Jackmail 1.2.22 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to plant formulas. Patchstack has not disclosed the affected export routine or the specific field that reaches CSV output without formula neutralization. Subscriber access can supply the payload, and successful exploitation requires a privileged user to open the exported file in spreadsheet software, where the formula can execute commands on that user's computer.
