Out-of-bounds access in Apple macOS before 13.1 allows local users to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges via a malicious app. IOMobileFrameBuffer's AppleCLCD2 user client mishandles the length of a user-supplied structure passed to external method selector 5, allowing an out-of-bounds memory access. Execution of a local app is required; successful exploitation crosses into the kernel and grants kernel-level code execution.
