Out-of-bounds write in AppleAVD in Apple tvOS before 16.2 and watchOS before 9.2 allows attackers to execute kernel code via crafted video files. The AppleAVD video parser insufficiently validates file input before a write, allowing data to cross the intended buffer boundary. Exploitation requires an affected device to parse an attacker-crafted video file, after which code executes with kernel privileges.
