Credential disclosure via plaintext ION/TCP messages

Cleartext credential transmission in Schneider Electric PowerLogic ION meters allows man-in-the-middle attackers to capture account credentials. Enabled ION/TCP sessions send the user ID and password in plaintext with every message over TCP port 7700. An attacker must intercept network traffic; captured credentials grant access to engineering, SSH, or HTTP interfaces and permit configuration changes.
