CVE-2022-46642Network attack vector

Authenticated command execution via auto-upgrade parameter

Published Dec 23, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025

Command injection in D-Link DIR-846 A1 firmware 100A43 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through auto-upgrade settings. The SetAutoUpgradeInfo function places the auto_upgrade_hour parameter into a command context without neutralizing command syntax. Network access and low privileges are required, and successful exploitation permits command execution in the router firmware context.
