Hard-coded credentials in Prolink PRS1841 U V2 routers allow remote attackers to gain privileged Telnet and FTP access. The firmware enables Telnet and FTP by default and accepts the same embedded ADSL account credentials across devices, granting system-command privileges. Remote attackers who can reach either service can authenticate without prior access; Telnet grants command execution and FTP grants privileged file access.
