Remote command execution via WPS PIN parameter
Published Dec 30, 2022 · Updated Apr 11, 2025
Command injection in TRENDnet TEW755AP 1.13B01 allows remote attackers to execute operating-system commands via network requests. The set_sta_enrollee_pin_5g action passes the wps_sta_enrollee_pin parameter into command-processing logic without adequate neutralization, enabling injected shell syntax. Unauthenticated network access is sufficient according to the published attack vector, with potential confidentiality, integrity, and availability loss.
