Stack-based buffer overflow in D-Link DIR-882 1.30B06 and DIR-878 1.30B08 allows remote authenticated users to execute code. The SetSysEmailSettings module fails to bound AccountPassword to its destination stack buffer; the exact copy routine is not publicly disclosed. Access to the administrative interface with high privileges is required; exploitation can execute code or crash the router.
