Service interruption via oversized route entry
Published Dec 20, 2022 · Updated Apr 16, 2025
Buffer overflow in the Tenda F1203 2.0.1.6 httpd module allows remote attackers to interrupt service via a crafted HTTP request. The /goform/RouteStatic handler processes an oversized entrys value without enforcing the destination buffer bounds. The published proof of concept includes an administrative session cookie, but the public record does not establish whether authentication is required; code execution is not demonstrated.
