Service interruption via oversized mitInterface value
Published Dec 20, 2022 · Updated Apr 16, 2025
Buffer overflow in the httpd module of Tenda F1203 2.0.1.6 allows remote attackers to interrupt service via a crafted HTTP request. The fromAddressNat handler accepts an oversized mitInterface value at /goform/addressNat without enforcing the destination buffer size. The published request carries a user=admin cookie, but public material does not establish whether the endpoint enforces authentication.
