Administrator account creation via cross-origin request
Published Dec 22, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in the default version of nbnbk allows remote attackers to create administrator accounts. The /fladmin/admin/add endpoint accepts a cross-origin multipart POST containing credentials and an administrator role without validating the request origin. An attacker must induce an authenticated administrator's browser to submit the crafted form; the resulting account permits administrative access.
