Denial of service in Microchip Bluetooth LE modules allows physically proximate attackers to interrupt affected devices during pairing. The pairing state machine accepts a PairCon_rmSend pairing-confirm message containing invalid values before the peer public key when Secure Connections is enabled. The attacker must be within Bluetooth radio range and act as the central; triggering the flaw denies service without pairing or user interaction.
