Service interruption via pre-pairing plaintext request

Improper input validation in Microchip RN4870 firmware 1.43 allows adjacent-network attackers to interrupt service via Bluetooth Low Energy. The firmware accepts PauseEncReqPlainText before pairing completes, entering a faulty state and discarding subsequent messages from the central device. An attacker must be within Bluetooth radio range, but no pairing or authentication is required; the documented consequence is a service issue without stated data disclosure.
